In order to make the most of this night, get dressed up with your friends. Do your hair, put on your makeup, and find the perfect outfit for a night out with the girls. And get your Power Juicer ready to make some delicious cocktails that are also healthy. So you won’t worry about your outfit getting too tight on you! Here are some great fresh cocktail recipes and tips to get your ladies night started.
There are a couple things you should always remember when making fresh drinks for you and your friends. First, make sure you use fresh fruit that is ripe. Also, have your ingredients and glasses prepared in advance so you’re not going crazy looking for more fruit, veggies or glasses. Now that you’ve got that set up, here are two recipes you’re going to love!
The Refresher
Serves 2
1 orange (peeled)
½ grapefruit, pink (peeled)
1 cup spearmint
3 fl. oz. rum
Juice the fruit and mint. Combine with the rum. Pour over ice in two glasses and serve.
Key Lime Martini
Serves 1
½ lime (peel intact)
3 fl. oz. vanilla vodka
1 tsp. agave
3 tbsp. fat-free milk
2 tbsp. honey (for the rim)
1 tbsp. graham cracker crumbs (for the rim)
Juice the lime. Add the ingredients in a shaker glass with ice. Shake well and strain into the prepared martini glass. To prepare glass: dip the rim of the glass into the honey and then graham cracker crumbs.
Make some dinner or head out to your favorite restaurant with the girls and you’ve got the eating part done. Now pray you make it to the theater in time because you will love this girl’s night out!
