OVARIAN CANCER:
WHAT ALL WOMEN NEED
TO KNOW
You know your body best, so listen
to what it is saying. Although some
of the symptoms for ovarian cancer
often mimic less life-threatening
diseases, trust yourself to know
whether they require further attention.
Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.
See your doctor, preferably a
gynecologist, if you have the any
of the symptoms listed below
almost daily for more than one
to two weeks.
• Bloating
• Pelvic abdominal pain
• Difficulty eating or
feeling full quickly
• Urinary symptoms
(urgency or frequency)
Experts suggest a combination
pelvic/rectal exam, a CA-125
blood test and a transvaginal
ultrasound for the most thorough
diagnostic evaluation. |
