Mother’s Day Décor & Gift

May 4, 2011 in Holiday Ideas by Kristina

This Mother’s Day, come together and make Mother’s Day Brunch an absolute special time for her. Take a look at the brunch menu here. As for the décor, here are some ways you can decorate for my mom on her day. She’ll be shocked to see what a wonderful job you did.

Start off with selecting the dishes you will use and placing each setting with a small arrangement of flowers on each. As your centerpiece, try this Vegetable Garden Crudités. Try it with our Mango Curry Dip. Choose broccoli, carrots, different color peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and much more. Arrange them nicely in a glass dish so it looks like it was picked fresh from your very own vegetable garden. Or maybe you did pick it from your garden! You can use a bed of lettuce to lay them on.

As for the perfect Mother’s Day gift… give her something she will love to use! Use a garden wicker basket to hold it all together. Get a small colorful pot, like this one in green. Pot her favorite flower in there that she can easily transfer to her garden. Here, we used a Non-Stop Rose Petticoat flower. There’s also potted Lavender and potted curly mint. Mint is great with many of your HealthMaster recipes. You can also use Lavender when cooking. Don’t forget to include garden gloves like the ones here. Add some ribbon and you’ve got one great Mother’s Day gift that will definitely keep on giving.
