The Andre Agassi Foundation showered A-list celebs like Tim McGraw, Brian McKnight, Daughtry, Dane Cook and Macy Gray with gifts in appreciation for donating their time and talent to the 14th Annual Grand Slam for Children benefit concert.
Celebrity gift-givers Distinctive Assets provided Gift Bags filled with gifts for a ‘koz’ and a Backstage Gift Lounge for the performers and guests at the Grand Slam concert at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on September 25 and 26, 2009.
The Backstage Gift Lounge featured a “giving station,” hosted by GRAMMY nominee Dave Koz, where celebrities autographed their favorite new gift to be auctioned off to benefit the Andre Agassi Foundation.
Gifting Station Scores an Ace
Continuing its proud ten-year philanthropic tradition, Distinctive Assets featured an in-Lounge “giving station” hosted by GRAMMY nominee Dave Koz and his eponymous Koz Wine. Koz Wine is available at Whole Foods stores nationwide and 100% of the profits benefit the Starlight Foundation.
In honor of the powerful example set by celebrities such as Andre Agassi and Dave Koz, each celebrity attending the Gift Lounge will be asked to autograph their favorite new gift, which will then be auctioned off to support the Andre Agassi Foundation and benefit the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy.

• Andre Agassi Foundation
Now in its 14th year, the Grand Slam for Children brings together international stars to build awareness and raise money for the Andre Agassi Foundation. The annual event supports the Foundation’s efforts to transform education and benefits the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy, a K-12 public charter school in Las Vegas that strives to provide children with a first-class education. The Foundation opened the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy in 2001; in 2009 the public charter school graduated its first senior class with 100 percent of graduates going on to higher education opportunities. The Andre Agassi Foundation’s work is directly impacting students in Las Vegas, but it has broader implications for education nationwide, as the Foundation works to increase investment in, and accountability for, public schools. Since 1995, the Grand Slam has raised nearly $75 million to support a movement that’s improving education for all children. For additional information, please visit www.agassifoundation.org.
